Challenge:

DNA's information and resources existed, but not anywhere students could easily find them. Events, services, and support were scattered, making the association harder to access than its mission intended. The site needed to prioritize easy navigation and clarity above all else and needed an identity flexible enough to grow with the club for years to come, not just serve a single semester.

Approach:

I extended DNA's existing logo and color palette into a custom illustration system, rather than introducing a new visual language the community would have to relearn. The goal was an identity that felt more inviting and inclusive without losing what already represented the club. Accessibility guided every decision from there, structuring the site's information architecture around how students actually look for support, not how the association is organized internally.

Solution:

The result is a site built to aggregate DNA's full range of services and events in one accessible, easy-to-navigate space. The site was audited and passed for blind accessibility standards, giving the accessibility-first approach a concrete benchmark . The illustration system doubled as a reusable asset library, extending consistently across the site and DNA's social media so the brand stays cohesive everywhere students encounter it.
